The first is Wang's discussion of the anatomical errors in the classical literature and his suggested corrections based on his study of cadavers. While these discussions are interesting for their logic, they themselves are not correct. The second part of this book is a discussion of the clinical use of the Zhu Yu Tang (Stasis expelling Decoction) series of formulas created by Wang.
These are some of the most effective and commonly used formulas in Chinese medicine. This is the book that elevated blood stasis to one of the most important disease mechanisms and patterns within Chinese medicine. Wang's original text is included in the book and has been translated, annotated and commented on by a team of two practitioners (one Chinese and one European) and a sinologist.
